Message I speak from experience. The two next to each other is quite a site (the HKS doesn't look so pretty after a year). There's no comparison in the quality. Also, there's one thing to remember. The dynos were NOT DONE back to back. So those two dynos don't say much. Too many factors can relate to a lousy 13 hp difference (less than 1 psi of boost, weather, countless things). The other thing is that this was on a 500+ rwhp car. And according to Coz, the HKS has a 2.65" diameter and the B&B's is 2.5". At that size difference (3" would be even more drastic) and that type of hp level, the larger diameter would be better. But they also sell 3" B&B's. :-) The only test I'll believe is when I see it on cars that have less 400 rwhp levels that don't need the larger diameter. I did not ever say the Hiper itself is a piece of crap. What I did say is that it looks crappy. I never argued what you got for your money. But what I'm saying is that I got much more for my money (plus mine was $850 shipped). As with anything else, you get what you pay for. It's always been well known that the B&B is the most expensive exhaust and yields the same approximate hp as all catbacks. If you really believe the Hiper will yield a 13 hp advantage, then that's fine. If you think scientifically (I don't know your background, but mine is scientific), those dynos are hardly a controlled test. I may talk to Chris at Ultimate Z and see if we can throw a Hiper on my car to dyno right after I dyno with my B&B. I know there won't be a big difference.

All catbacks have at least one good ingredient...that's the hp gained. But there is sound, looks, material, worksmanship, etc. and the B&B has it all over the Hiper with possibly the exception of power. But I may disspell that in the next 4-5 months when it stops snowing here. Power is not the only reason to buy an exhaust. If it was, we'd all run straight through. :-)
